The children in שׁוֹרָשִׁים (Shorashim– ‘roots’ for nursery) and שְׁתִּילִים (Shteelim– ‘saplings’ for kindergarten) are ready to share their ideas about יוֹסֵף (Yosef) with their families!
I want to share a snapshot of building that demonstrates their readiness. On Tuesday, a group of three children used their time in the special יוֹסֵף (Yosef) building area to build something that represents each part of the text (Genesis, chapters 37-45). When they were finished, one of the children narrated the whole thing and each child shared their idea about what at least one of the characters were feeling for each section of the text.
I can’t wait for Family Exploration and Celebration, when we’ll be able to explore the text together with the families!
