It is a little hard to believe, but פּוּרִים (Purim) is right around the corner! The families of Shalom Chaverim (“Welcome, Friends!” for infants and toddlers with a grown-up) are starting to get ready!
This week we got to play with and make objects associated with פּוּרִים (Purim). In both photos, children are playing with רַעֲשָׁנִים (ra’ashanim – noisemakers or groggers). The first photo, includes a pre-made רַעֲשָׁנִים (ra’ashanim – noisemakers or groggers), the second photo includes one made by the family. Each makes a different kind of sound.
