The children in שׁוֹרָשִׁים (Shorashim– ‘roots’ for nursery) and שְׁתִּילִים (Shteelim– ‘saplings’ for kindergarten) have finally heard the final part of the יוֹסֵף (Yosef) text. We are now in project mode and starting to get ready to share our ideas about יוֹסֵף (Yosef) with our families! We have been building about יוֹסֵף (Yosef) for the entire theme. A new building area with a wide range of building materials ( think gems, tiles, natural blocks in a variety of sizes and shape, fabrics ect.) that the children helped select, was created and the excitement was apparent the moment we arrived.
Here children are deciding what they are going to build about:

Here they are working together to build. At the end of session today the children were asked about a time they noticed others being kind, and one of the children shared that the group was being kind while building today!

In case anyone was wondering about the set up of the building area:

I’d also like to note that I took this photo after the children had put a lot of care into cleaning up, after they finished building!
Looking forward to more beautiful building together!
