We are exploring the festive Jewish holiday of Sukkot this week in the School-Day Program at the Jewish Enrichment Center!
The children constructed an indoor sukkah out of PVC pipes. One child commented that he did not want to be transported back to ancient times while in the sukkah, and the concept of a sukkah time machine was born! The children shared creative ideas of where (when?) they would travel in our very own sukkah time machine!
We continued playing Wax Museum, but this time with a Sukkot theme. Check out these pictures of children in the shapes of a sukkah, lulav, and etrog, as well as a challah and a paper chain!
These children are participating in a socially-distant physical education class in the PVC sukkah!
