End-of-year atmosphere

The end-of-year atmosphere has settled in Beit Nitzanim. Everywhere I looked yesterday, children were working with confidence and autonomy. No task is too difficult for these incredible kids.  Just watch them show off everything they can do!

Write a new question or idea about אונאת דברים (Ona’at Devarim–Hurting with words) on our documentation wall? No problem. Can I use two post-its?

It’s זמן עברית (zeman Ivrit–Hebrew time)? No biggie. I’m just finding the gematria for every Hebrew word in our classroom.

Include four ideas or questions from other children in my אונאת דברים (Ona’at Devarim–Hurting with words) manual? Sure. “Can I interview you?”

Figure out our height in inches and then say the number in Hebrew? Okay. I’ll hold the yardstick for you.

Nitzanim, I’m so impressed with your independence, the kindness you show to each other, and the pride you take in your work!  What a gorgeous day.
