On Tu B’Shevat we celebrate the birthday of the trees! One traditional way to celebrate is by planting. We did some pretend planting…
And look! We had some trees…
…and an apple grow!
Later, we did some real planting!
First, we added some dirt.
Next, we put in some seeds!
Then we covered the seeds with more dirt.
After, we added some water for the seeds to drink up.
Once we were done, we took a quick look, but found that nothing was growing yet!
We will have to wait, give the plant some sunlight, and soon it will grow into some tall grass! Come check out our growing plants on the windowsill in Shorashim!
