Middle Schoolers Lead Our Sukkot Celebration

For the past month, our sixth and seventh graders have been planning a Sukkot celebration for the entire Jewish Enrichment Center. Finally, our big day arrived!

What a scramble to get everything ready! After all of our prep work was done, our language for giving instructions to younger children rehearsed, we took some time to relax our brains and bodies.

At our celebration, so many kids wanted to make pita pizzas first! Our middle schoolers organized the pack.

Our middle schoolers designed games to play with younger kids in the small sukkah.

Our middle schoolers worked with younger children to paint with a lulav.

And THEN, our guest readers arrived! Our middle schoolers had arranged for EIGHT wonderful people from our community read stories to children. What a joyous way to celebrate Sukkot!
