Tzedakah Play

The past few sessions Shorashim (‘Roots’ for Nursery) has been playing צדקה (Tzedakah) different ways.

We have figured out that צדקה (Tzedakah) is money we give to help people who need it, but צדקה (Tzedakah) might be used to help in different ways. צדקה (Tzedakah) might be given to help people who are hungry but צדקה (Tzedakah) might be given to help animals and the environment too!

First we made צדקה (Tzedakah) boxes for us to play with and even some coins!

The צדקה (Tzedakah) was used to pay for the Elephant’s medicine.

Morah Sara gave צדקה (Tzedakah), we will clean the park so everyone can play and have a picnic!

Deciding if we want to give צדקה (Tzedakah) to help sick animals, take care of the environment or help people who don’t have enough food.

Listening to a story that a child in Shteelim (‘Saplings’ for Kindergarten) wrote about צדקה (tzedakah).

Over the next two and a half weeks, the Shorashim (‘roots’ for Nursery) children will be collecting צדקה (Tzedakah) and deciding where to send it based on how we would like it to help.
