How can we not put a stumbling block in front of the blind?

In Beit Shorashim vShteelim (nursery and kindergarten) this week we explored how accessible it is for a blind person to find Beit Shorashim vShteelim and what were some of the challenges that we found in the building.

We felt how a blind person might read the different rooms that are in building, however we had some concerns about the words being too high for some people to reach.

We helped guide each other around the building, giving some experience to what  might be hard or easy for a blind person in our building.

We made notes about what people might find hard in the building such as open spaces and stairs.IMG_4177

We tried to think about how a blind person might use the stairs and what they need to do to remain safe on the stairs.
