I spent the day meeting one-on-one with children to help them synthesize and deepen their ideas about our Bamidbar theme. While I looked on from a nearby table, children moved through the steps of our day somewhat independently.
Children read the message, which told them to answer a question on a post-it.
And then some children chose an anchor choice or reading, all by themselves.
Children worked on Hebrew challenges either independently or in a small group.
Later in the day, children used craypas to show their interpretations of Numbers 13. They checked in either with me or Morah Shterna so that we could write down their words.
What a wonderful demonstration of our community expectation, “Take care of yourself!”
