This week we have been filling up our Torah wall! We are all the way down to Ba’midbar (Numbers), which means we’ve heard stories from Bereshit, Shmot, Va’yicrá, and Ba’midbar. Some children consider the Yosef story to be the best!, others really like the Pesach story, or the new donkey story. We have been hunting for special Jewish books all around the building; we saw different Torahs!; we are learning the names of the tzvaim (colors); and we are singing new prayers. Some Shteelimers are even learning vowels! So much is happening with so little time left for the end of our school year, we are not ready to start packing!
