This week in Shalom Chaverim was all about preparing for Purim.
We explored and tried on costumes. As we dressing up and become someone different, we are developing an understanding of the way we celebrate Purim.
We are exploring some of the imagery of Purim, as we play out the Purim story in play dough, and create our own costumes and masks.
And, of course, there were groggers, to make and to shake. We filled up our cups with objects that make a loud sound, and we shook them as hard as we could to drown out Haman’s name!
