The children said, “There’s something new in the room!” “There’s a Torah in there!”
First we dressed up in fancy clothing, “Because it’s Shabbat,” they said.
Two children said, “We’re the rabbis.” (“Do you have to be a rabbi to lead services?” I asked. “No,” they replied, “but we are.”)
We opened up our siddurim (prayerbooks) and found a lot of ב bet (the first letter in the word ברכה, blessing). We took out the Torah and made a berakhah (blessing) for studying Torah.
Then we called our friends to invite them to a special Shabbat meal, with more berakhot (blessings!)
