Nitzanim has been drawing AMAZING things we notice in nature or outside our windows. Why? Because you can say a ברכה (berakhah—blessing) when you notice something beautiful or powerful in the world.
A child wrote one of the berakhot (blessings) on the top of his lightning drawing. “Blessed are You, our God, Ruler of the universe, your power and might fill the whole world.”
Here are some of the AMAZING things we’ve noticed (and perhaps imagined) around us:
Boy 1: ” …then when I went fishing I saw a really big squid.”
Girl 1: “I saw a real life deer trotting across the path.”
Girl 2: “Leaves and birds and the flower outside my garden.”
Boy 2: “It’s [a lightning storm] setting an entire forest on fire.”
Boy 3: “I drew a thunderstorm.”
Boy 4: “I went camping and there were rapids and these paths…”
