This week in Shalom Chaverim was all about what we can our bodies can do in the boker.
We woke up some babies and practiced wishing them “Boker tov” (and then tucking them in with a “Lilah tov” many times over.)
We painted our own renditions of the sky in the boker, with bright yellow sunshine on blue skies.
We are also continue to explore Hebrew letters in many different ways. Through building and knocking down and forming letters many different ways, we are building an understanding of what these letters mean and can do.
This week we were especially focused on the special letter Bet, for Boker. We squished and squashed modeling dough into its shape.
If you are interested in the play dough we sometimes use in Shalom Chaverim to build our letters (and many other things!) here is the recipe we use.
