Last week in Shalom Chaverim was all about exploring Pesach with our five senses.
The children continued working on their Seder plates, adding paint and glue and tissue paper for color, and exploring all the symbols of the Seder plate as they did so.
We worked together to replicate some of the items we taste on the Seder plate as well– the children cut apples, measured raisins and grape juice, and shook in cinnamon for our own version of charoset.
Before tasting our charoset, we explored another important taste of Pesach– the children tasted matzah and challah together and looked for the differences . Many children noticed how hard the matzah was!
Happy Pesach!
