In Shalom Chaverim this week the children were busy using their senses to explore the symbols of Purim.
As we examine photos of children in costume inside the water table, or create play dough scenes with the characters from the Purim story, we are building an understanding of what this holiday is all about.
There are so many different parts of Purim to explore through play! We explored (and modeled) costumes together…
And even set to work making some costume pieces ourselves.
We are also getting reading to practice shaloch manot. We are excited to share some snacks with some special grown ups in our lives, and sat down together to create bags to hold the treats next week.
