How wonderful to be together for the first time this year in Shalom Chaverim this Sunday!
The children set
right to work as they arrived, getting to know each other once again and preparing to celebrate Rosh Hashanah together.
There were tapuchim to explore in so many different ways together! Children added apples to a sticky apple tree, searched for more apples inside the sensory table, and created their own apples using apple-play-dough.
Then, we set out to bake together. As we baked, we talked about special foods– birthday cake for our birthdays, sufganiyot for Hanukkah, and apples and honey for Rosh Hashanah.
We mixed, we measured, we poured and we stirred.
Then we waited… And waited… And waited. Untill we could enjoy our honey cakes together.
