Shorashim FINISHED their stained glass projects this week! And they are stunning!
Last week, children experimented with the colored glass “gems” and they used that step as a kind of draft. After they had all the glass gems where they wanted them, I took a picture.
Then I placed the picture underneath a picture frame (with the back taken off). A thin layer of clear gel glue was applied on top of the glass. Then they would take the gems one at a time and place them on the glue-y frame in the same spot as the picture showed. This was an easy way to apply their design they had already worked hard on to their final step of creating stained glass.
