The children in Shalom Chaverim found so many different ways to explore trees today!
This Shalom Chaverim child is hard at work creating a forest. We counted our trees and noticed all the different colors leaves could be!
All the children explored trees in their own way– some buried the trees under play dough only to uncover them again and again.
Then there were all kinds of fruit from trees– some with rinds, and some with pits. Several children immediately identified the seeds in an apple, so we set to work searching for seeds in all the fruit.
We learned that most bananas have no seeds…
And that pomegranate seeds are especially yummy.
Happy Tu B’Shevat!
