The Nitzanim have been getting to know the Torah this week, in preparation for our next big exploration.
We took a field trip to visit the Torah, which prompted some children to wonder how many words are in the Torah. Thanks to the magic of google, while the children guessed, we researched.
Guesses ranged from 152 to, our highest guess, 1600, (and one guess of a billion kazillion).
The actual number was…79,847!
In addition to satisfying our curiosity, one child drew a Torah for every season, (we were also learning about the seasons this week):
