Making Simchat Torah Flags Together

In honor of Simchat Torah, Nitzanim (1^st – 2^nd grade) and Shteelim (Pre-K and K) children made Torah flags together.

The Process:

1. Nitzanim children outlined a closed or open Torah with tape.
2. Children met their partners and learned one thing their partner likes to do.
3. Older and younger children worked together to create colorful tissue paper Torahs.

“Our Torah has so many colors!… especially pink because it’s my favorite color.”
