In Anafim v’Alonim (“Branches” for 4th Grade, “Oak Trees” for 5th Grade) we are so focused on expressing our growing ideas about Yosef! Behind these pictures are children rushing to sit down to begin reading the new text, delighting in the ever-increasing DRAMA of the story, and finding moments of fun and focus as they try out new techniques to express their ideas.
Here are some of the children’s BIG questions:
Do you think Yosef is changed by his life events?
How do the brothers feel over the course of the story?
What is Yosef’s relationship with Adonai, and what kind of impact do the dreams really have?
Stay tuned for more big questions, new techniques, and moments of fabulous partner learning!
