A new theme comes with new explorations!

This week in Anafim v’Alonim (“Branches” and “Oak trees” for 4th and 5th grades), we started exploring our NEW theme, נוֹשֵׂא בְעֹל עִם חֲבֵרוֹ (Nosei v’ol im chaveiro–Help a friend carry a burden).   Children started by thinking of examples of what it might mean to carry a burden with a friend. What is something you might need help carrying?

In שׁוֹרָשִׁים (Shorashim– ‘roots’ for nursery) and שְׁתִּילִים (Shteelim– ‘saplings’ for kindergarten), we have started our new theme, נוֹשֵׂא בְעֹל עִם חֲבֵרוֹ (Nosei v’ol im chaveiro– Help a friend carry their burden, or, their heavy thing). Breathing Life into Our New Theme!

Through a joint effort Anafimers sounded out all the letters and vowels that make up our new theme: נוֹשֵׂא בְעֹל עִם חֲבֵרוֹ (Nosei v’ol im chaveiro).” Immediately, Anafim was after the meaning behind this phrase.
